$75 second place

Come out to the Hempstead Watermelon Festival for the Kids BBQ Cook Off, Friday July 14th. Kids Cook Meeting will be at 6 p.m. Kids will be cooking at team camp, if the child is not associated with a cooking team there will be a designated area near the train depot.

Kids will be cooking pork chop that will be provided.

Garnish is allowed, but no other protein garnish.

Kids turn in will be at 7 p.m. at the Train Depot.

Awards will be Saturday at 5 p.m.

Hempstead Watermelon Festival Kids BBQ Cook Off is a part of the Future of BBQ 6 Pack Series.
